養(yǎng)兔場址應(yīng)選在地勢高燥、平坦或略有坡度的地方。場址或周圍必須有水量充足、水質(zhì)良好的水源。兔場一般應(yīng)離交通主干線200米以上，離一般道路100米以上。兔場應(yīng)設(shè)在居民區(qū)、村莊的下風(fēng)向，與居民點的距離應(yīng)在400米以上。考慮到飼料原料運輸、產(chǎn)品的銷售和職工生活工作的方便等，兔場也不宜建在交通不便或偏遠(yuǎn)的地方。
