進入夏季后，應(yīng)提前在適當(dāng)?shù)臅r間熟悉長毛兔的繁殖環(huán)境。在夏天來臨之前，長毛兔還需要做好剪毛工作。由于防止溫度過高，導(dǎo)致長毛兔散熱不均勻，合理的剪切可以有效地促進長毛兔散熱降溫。如果在兔子身上發(fā)現(xiàn)發(fā)燒、眼球突出和抽搐，則表示長發(fā)兔子中暑。這時，我們要及時把病兔放在陰涼的地方，然后用濕毛巾，把冷水倒進人單里搶救。

夏季降水量很大，所以空氣濕度較大，高溫潮濕環(huán)境非常不適合家兔生長。所以在夏天，我們應(yīng)該盡量建造一個遮陽棚，然后做好通風(fēng)工作。浸泡在冷水中的磚塊可以在高溫時放在籠子里，但它們應(yīng)該裝在袋子里幫助兔子降溫。可安裝有條件的冷卻設(shè)備，以促進散熱和降低濕度。如果地面是濕的，我們應(yīng)該噴灑植物灰等來適當(dāng)中和它。遇到暴雨天，要注意避雨、清水、防退潮。
